Thorp Mill Annual Dinner and Auction, May 25

Great western BBQ Dinner! Live and Silent Auctions! Live music from the Dainty Saints! Tour the Thorp Mill!

Join us on Saturday, May 25th at Springwood Ranch for Kittitas Valley's best local Memorial Day weekend celebration. Built in 1883, the Thorp Mill was a generator of early industry in Kittitas County. The Thorp Mill Historical Society maintains a close collaborative relationship with faculty and students of Central Washington University. Proceeds from the dinner and auction will support CWU student projects at the mill and maintenance of the historic structure.

Tour the Thorp Mill from 2 to 4 PM on May 28, at 11642 North Thorp Hwy ~1 mile west of the town of Thorp. Follow with the Thorp Mill Dinner and Auction at the Springwood Ranch Party Barn.

Silent Auction opens at 4:30 PM…Dinner from 5:00 PM…Live Auction 6:30 PM

Tickets are only $25 when purchased by May 15th; tickets after May 15 are $30. Seniors receive $5 discount at any time.  Purchase tickets online at, or at Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce, Cle Elum Bakery or from a Thorp Mill Board member. Visit to learn about items for auction this year.
