Safe Space workshop TONIGHT!

Safe Space Workshop * Monday, October 15th at 7:00 pm * SURC 135 * Free and open to all CWU students, faculty and staff

The Center for Diversity and Social Justice provides Safe Space workshops to empower our community to take a stand against heterosexism and homophobia. Join us for an engaging and interactive workshop where you'll practice terminology, develop empathy, and gain a clearer understanding of how to be an ally. You'll have the opportunity to take the pledge to display your Safe Space placard in your office or res hall to signify your commitment to being an active ally, and join over 100 other Safe Spaces on campus. Relatedly, October is LGBT History Month - check out our display board on the first floor of the SURC all month long to bear witness and celebrate the struggles and triumphs of the community.
