PTSD "Post Traumatic Soul Disorder" Tuesday, November 20 @ 3:30 SURC 137B

The Center for Diversity and Social Just and the Douglas Honors College would like to invite you to a presentation by Peter Schmidt on PTSD "Post Traumatic Soul Disorder."

"For some, trauma, particularly when it involves killing, represents the betrayal of one's soul in order to preserve the rights and well-being of those they love. Soul wounds involved deep pain, regret, guilt and represent a loss of connection to society. Those veterans who have served in a war zone undoubtedly experience the same. How does one readjust and reintegrate to civilian life? How can civilians assist our veterans to walk the spirit journey back home?"

The presentation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at 3:30 in SURC 137B
