YOU ARE INVITED!
Career Services will be hosting the 11th Annual Majors Fair, Wednesday, January 30, from Noon to 3:00 p.m. in the SURC Ballroom.
The Majors Fair is for those students who are still deciding on a major, minor or specialization to have the opportunity to speak directly with you about your programs and degree requirements. As of Winter quarter, there are 2,933 undeclared students at CWU. Major declaration is a key component of student retention, and the Majors Fair is an opportunity for all of us to be a part of helping students find direction and stay connected to Central. Also this year we've invited local high school seniors, that are interested in attending Central, to learn more about what programs are offered!
Each department is encouraged to participate by having faculty and/or representatives staff a table from Noon to 3:00 p.m. Set-up begins at 11:30 a.m., please bring information on your specific majors and minors to distribute to interested students such as: departmental brochures, four-year plans, business cards, candy or give-always, and table displays unique to your department. Unfortunately, we no longer have funding to provide lunch, please plan accordingly.
Kindly reply to Kristina Paquette (firstname.lastname@example.org/ x2404) by Wednesday, January 23, with the names of faculty and/or representatives attending from your department. Thank you in advance for your timely reply and support of our students. Hope to see you at the fair!
