To commemorate the final day of the CWU Museum of Culture and Environment’s exhibit “Particles on the Wall,” which features information on the history of the Hanford nuclear site and the role of nuclear technology, everyone is encouraged to attend the Hanford Story Circle Saturday, Dec. 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Dean Hall Lobby. This event is free and open to the public.
The Hanford Story Circle will allow participants to share and listen to stories about the history of the nuclear age, with a focus on the Hanford site. Even those who may not have any direct memories about Hanford are welcome to share their ideas, thoughts and perspectives. Participants are also encouraged to bring photographs or other objects that relate to the history of Hanford.
The CWU Museum of Culture & Environment is located on the first floor of Dean Hall, 1200 North D St., and is open to the public Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parking is free after 4:30 p.m. and on weekends.
