Civil War 150: Exploring the War and Its Meaning
through the Words of Those Who Lived It

The exhibition recounts the Civil War through personal letters and photographs to invite a better understanding of how families, soldiers, and freedmen, struggled to address democracy, citizenship and the human toll of Civil War.
CWU Brooks Library is one of 50 libraries in the country to be awarded this exhibition
It will be on display in the lobby of the James E. Brooks Library
It is free and open to the public during library hours
