CWU students will get a hands on opportunity to learn about cooking meals that are both sustainable and affordable, with the help of Dr. Rebecca Pearson, at two Dine and Tote events. The first Dine and Tote is Tuesday, Oct. 15 and the second is Wednesday, Nov. 20. Both events are at 5:30 p.m., in Michaelson Hall room 127 and is free to all CWU students. Students must sign up for the Oct. 15 event by Sunday, Oct. 13 by emailing email@example.com.
The theme for the first session is Asian Infusion. Students will learn to cook popular Asian cuisines that are both inexpensive and healthy. The second session will focus on favorite Thanksgiving meals, just in time for students to surprise loved ones during Thanksgiving with their newfound culinary skills.
With beneficial advice from Dr. Pearson and tips on nutritious and stress-free cooking, leftovers wont be the only thing that students get to take home with them after the cooking session is through.
