May Bike Challenge

Dates: May 1 through May 31 

Cost: FREE 

Description: Outdoor Pursuits & Rentals, the Bike 2 Campus Committee and the Sustainability Café challenge you to get out and ride your bicycle for May, bike month. Take a break from your computer, get some fresh air, get some exercise and practice positive health & wellness habits. How many miles can you cycle during the month of May? All forms of cycling are recognized. Examples include, but are not limited to road cycling, mountain biking, commuting, running errands, cruising the beach, cruising your neighborhood or just cruising around town. 

Join our CWU cycling club/group by signing up at Love to Ride . It’s free, it’s compatible with several bicycle & fitness tracking apps on your phone and Love to Ride has prize giveaways for eligible participants. You can post your rides and photos from your ride.

Please practice responsible social distancing and follow the recommended COVID-19 guidelines put forth by Central Washington University, Kittitas County & the state of Washington. Please respect any public land closures during this time. Please send questions to bradley.gasawski@cwu.edu
