Leadership, exploration, and development. Those are the pillars for Central Washington University’s L.E.A.D. Conference 2020. Presented by CWU’s Westside Student Life, this year’s virtual Zoom event will take place Saturday, May 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The second annual event is free, though registration is required.

“The conference will allow participants to hear about leadership through presentations from some amazing speakers,” said Mishel Kuch, associate director of Westside Student Life. “The goal is to help them increase their leadership skills through these presentations, and gain new knowledge and skills that they will be able to incorporate into their careers.”

CWU’s Westside Student Life works to ensure that CWU students studying at University Centers and instructional sites in western Washington develop a sense of campus community through diverse activities and events, student clubs, student leadership training and development, special graduation events, and through collaboration with community college partners. Also, it offers support for non-traditional student populations and students with disabilities seeking accommodations.
