Kittitas County Search and Rescue Annual Banquet

Notice Type:

6th Annual Kittitas County Search and Rescue Banquet

Join the Kittitas County Search & Rescue (KCSR) at their annual banquet from 5:15 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the SURC Ballroom. Also known as the “boots on the ground” for the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office, this group of over 120 volunteers are trained to respond throughout the county on different search, rescue, and recovery missions. This annual fundraising dinner and auction is in its 6th year, and helps provide funds used to purchase equipment to support KCSR missions.

Tickets can be purchased online via KCSR, and more information is available on the KCSR’s Facebook event page.

The CWU Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) is also looking for some student volunteers. Responsibilities include setting up, registration, item runners, and clean up. Dinner will be provided for volunteers, and students can sign up either in SURC 256 or online.
