Kittitas Connect: Olmstead Place State Park Volunteers Needed

Saturday, Oct. 21
9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
SURC Pit

We still need volunteers! The Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) is partnering up with Olmstead Place State Park to provide maintenance at a historical Ellensburg landmark. Olmstead Place was one of the first homesteads in the Kittitas Valley and it needs your help. With 217-acres providing access to nature trails and historical lessons about the surrounding area, Olmstead Place is a step back in time. In order to keep our history in-tact, we need you to provide assistance to our local landmark.

This is an amazing opportunity to give back within our local area by preserving history and the environment. Lunch and transportation will be provided.

This is a great opportunity to earn civic engagement hours and give back to the community.
Visit the CLCE office in SURC 256 to start volunteering. If you have volunteered with the CLCE before, you can sign up for Kittitas Connect at www.cwu.edu/leadership-engage. For more information, call (509)963-1850 or email clce@cwu.edu (Subject: “ATTN: Kittitas Connect")
