Kicks for Cameroon concert/fundraiser

The CWU Unheard Voices program will host the Kicks for Cameroon concert Thursday, May 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at D&M Coffee (downtown location) to benefit children in Bawa, Cameroon. Event goers can donate gently used footwear or make monetary contributions to cover shipping costs while enjoying performances by Gentlemen’s Enemy and an array of student acts. This event is free and open to the public.

Anyone interested in performing at the event should contact the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement by Thursday, May 9 at 509-963-1524 or

Donations will also be accepted at D&M Coffee downtown, Morgan Middle School, Mercer Creek Church, First Lutheran Church and the CWU Early Childhood Learning Center.

Kicks for Cameroon provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the less fortunate while enjoying some great talent, so don’t let the chance to get involved pass by.
