Honoring Our Veterans - Feb. 18-22

There are 21.5 million veterans in the United States. They served us, now it is time for us to learn how we can serve them. Join the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) for a week of events to improve veteran support.

Benefit Concert
Wednesday, February 20
6 pm to 8 pm
Unheard Voices will host a concert to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, a national nonprofit organization that provides programs and services to assist injured veterans. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.

Keynote Speaker
Wednesday, February 20
3 pm to 4 pm
Peter Schmidt will present about issues veterans face when readjusting and reintegrating back into society. Schmidt has been recognized by the Washington State Senate for his work on behalf of veterans. Other speakers will also discuss services available to veterans on campus.

Display and Tabling
February 19-22
All Day
A partition board and table will provide information about veterans, veteran support, and upcoming veteran-oriented events.
