Two art forms collide when author, teacher and dance enthusiast Gabriela Condrea visits Central. Condrea combines both writing and dance in her interactive presentation, “Through the Prism of Tango,” Monday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. in Hertz Hall, room 122. This event is free and open to the public.
Condrea’s book, “When 1+1=1; The Impossible Connection: The Intersections Between Tango and Life,” will be an integral part of her presentation about the fleeting and subtle connections made in life and tango. But this is no ordinary author visit. Condrea will have participants moving and dancing, demonstrating just how similar the classic Latin dance of tango and the chaotic nature of life really are.
