FRIDAY: Balloon Stompin’ Event/Fundraiser

The Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) is looking to raise money for local youth at its Balloon Stompin’ event Friday, May 17 at 6 p.m. in the Nicholson Pavilion Upper Gym. Admission is $3 and open to the public.

As the name suggests, this event is all about stomping on balloons. Each participant will fasten balloons to each of their ankles and will do their best to pop their competitors balloons while keeping their own inflated. The object of the game is to be the last participant standing with balloons, because once a competitor has both of their balloons popped, they’re out of the game.

Once a competitor is eliminated they can enjoy free food and learn more about Youth Services of Kittitas County—the beneficiary of this Balloon Stompin’ event. CLCE wants to raise money for this organization to help local youth engage in appropriate, drug and alcohol free activities that teach kids how to make a positive impact in their community.
