Greetings Supervisors of Student Employees,

Please encourage your student employees to attend our upcoming FREE Professional Development Workshop for student employees! This workshop is titled Work Ethics. This workshop is being presented by Staci Sleigh-Layman, Executive Director of Human Resources.

The WSELP program benefits both students and supervisors and is available to any current CWU on-campus undergraduate student employee. The WSELP program focuses on the professional development of student employees and provides opportunities to intentionally promote student growth.

Workshop Description:

Work Ethics (WSLP02) – Wednesday, November 1st, 2017, 4:00 to 5:00 PM, SURC 137A

Work ethic? Business ethics? What are ethical dilemmas? Situational ethics? How do I resolve them for myself? What do employers expect? I'm SO confused! Come learn about ethics in the workplace and how you can discover the rules of right and wrong from a particular workplace culture.  We'll also talk about the Washington State Ethics Law in relation to CWU.
