Fire and Ice Part III: Collaborating to Address Climate Change in the PNW

Please join us today at the MCE in Dean Hall for an evening of forward-thinking conversation on climate change in the the PNW. Light refreshments will be served.

Event begins at 5:30 p.m. 

The Museum of Culture & environment concludes its year-long series "Fire and Ice" by reflecting upon the collaborations that will help community members prepare for living in a climate-changed Pacific Northwest. Emily Washines, Yakama Nation, will discuss the role of cultural knowledge in developing creative answers to the problems posed by climate change. Urban Eberhart, Kittitas Reclamation District, will help us understand the current work being done to address water scarcity as a result of climate change.
