Feb 14 - Innovation & Entrepreneurship Speaker Series & Bus. Plan Workshop

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Speaker Series of the I4IE will feature Sandy Wheeler on Feb 14. The event will also be the Kick-off to the 2013 CWU Student Business Plan Competition (BPC), where $10,000 will be awarded to the top 3 finalists. and <click> on "2013 Business Plan Competition"

Sandy is the Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the I4IE. He is a CWU alum (1974, Accounting), co-inventor of Bowflex, and co-founder of the Nautilus Group.

Alma Navarro, CPA (SCORE Counselor, Yakima Chapter) will conduct a "workshop" for students and anyone interested on "Business Plan Basics."

Sandy will speak from 3:30 to about 4:30pm and Alma will make her presentation at roughly 4:30 to 5:30pm.

The program will originate in Shaw-Smyser 115 and will be streamed as well as transmitted by Distance Education (interactive compressed video) to CWU university centers:
* Lynnwood (Edmonds CC) in room 306
* Des Moines (Highline CC) in room 109
* Moses Lake (Big Bend CC) in WECN conference room
* Wenatchee (WCC) in room 5503
* Yakima (YVCC) in room 255.

The streaming link is: and it should go active just before the presentation so those off campus can watch it live (note: there will be no interaction abilities for those watching on their computers).
