FEB. 1 // MCE: Fire and Ice Part II

Continuing the Conversation about PNW Climate Change

Exploring climate change in the Pacific Northwest (PNW), Drs. Paul James and Clay Arango examine in-depth how this phenomenon could affect the Yakima Basin. There could be a multitude of consequences, including everything from forest health to other industries that depend on fresh water. Climate change affects more than just the land though, as forest insects and fish learn how to adapt to these new conditions. Join the Museum of Culture & Environment (MCE) in Dean Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 1 to learn more.

There’s free parking on campus after 4:30 p.m. and on weekends, and Dean Hall is located at 1200 Wildcat Way.

Check out the Facebook event at the CWU Museum of Culture and Environment for more details.
