External Grants & Contracts Awarded in February 2019

Research & Sponsored Programs and Foundation Relations would like to announce the recipients of the following grants and contracts that were awarded in Febraury 2019. Below are this month’s awardees:

• Hope Amason, Museum of Culture & Environment/Anthropology, received $1,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities for NEH On the Road Exhibition and Public Programming: For All the World to See: Visual Culture and the Struggle for Civil Rights.

• Lynn Bethke, Museum of Culture & Environment/Anthropology, received $5,673 from the National Endowment for the Humanities for Improving Storage Conditions for Two At-Risk Collections.

• Sabrina Juhl and Ping Fu, Library, received $2,000 from the Washington State Library for Professional Development: Ex Libris Users of North America Annual Meeting.

• Tim Melbourne, Geological Sciences, received $106,078 from the U.S. Geological Survey for the fifth year of his research project Real-Time Operations of the Pacific Northwest Geodetic Array.
