Ellensburg High School's production of the musical "Anything Goes" is happening this weekend and next at 7:00 pm in McConnell Auditorium. The production is co-produced by the CWU Theatre Arts Department and Ellensburg High School. Cole Porter's classic musical features several of his famous and beloved songs, such as "I Get a Kick Out of You", "You' re the Top", and the title number "Anything Goes". The 8 piece live orchestra is made up of CWU music students, conducted by graduate student James Pham. The musical director for the show is Adrienne Shields, also a CWU graduate music student. The set is a 3 story cruise ship to designed and built by John Mounsey, Assistant Director of Housing for CWU and parent of a cast member, along with Jeff Wedekind, parent of a cast member. The technical aspects of the show are being run by CWU Theatre Arts Students. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door. Doors open at 6:00 for tickets, seating at 6:30 and the show is 7:00 pm. Saturday Feb 23, Friday March 1 and Saturday March 2.
