The Center for Diversity and Student Justice presents a free screening of the documentary SERVICE: When Women Come Marching Home Thursday, Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in Dean Hall.
Service depicts the journey of several women who have fought the frontless wars of Iraq and Afghanistan. Having faced horrific trauma, the women are now forced to transition from active duty to civilian life. The women return home dealing with devastating life changes including prosthetics, homelessness, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Military Sexual Trauma.
Told through the voices of the women featured, this documentary shows the challenges female veterans face returning from duty and depicts just how courageous these veterans are.
