The Random Acts of Kindness pledge drive is a class project of the winter, 2014, Douglas Honors College class, "What is Happiness?"
The purpose of the drive is to inspire random acts of kindness throughout CWU, Ellensburg, and global spots across the world with the hope that in doing so, these acts will spread moments of joy and happiness to as many individuals as possible.
Our goal is to collect 5,000 pledges by March 7, 2014.
The drive will officially kick-off on February 7 with a community launch event in downtown Ellensburg at the Rotary Paviliion from 5-7:30 and on February 10 in the SURC Pit from 11-2 on the CWU campus. Pledges can be made before then and will count towards our goal.
During the week of March 10-14, we are planning celebration events to share the stories of the acts of kindness completed during the drive.
Please pledge, perform and share your stories at our website: http://www.rakpledge.com
Kindness begins with you!
