Celebrate the Legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

MLK Annual Vigil and Celebration
Thursday, January 11, 2018
3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

CWU students, staff, faculty and community members are invited to the 9th annual celebration of Civil Rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 

The evening will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the SURC Pit with a peace march through CWU’s campus to practice and celebrate MLK’s dream of social equality and diversity.
Following the peace march there will be a remembrance program beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the SURC Theatre, with performances by CWU students and the Black Gospel Choir, refreshments provided.

We hope to see you there to celebrate MLK’s dream and the CWU community members and organizations that are committed to keeping it alive!
