Book Sale: Friends of the Brooks Library

The Friends of the Brooks Library will hold their annual book sale in the foyer of the university library on Tuesday, November 5, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 6, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.   

The Friends' sale offers many books of interest, both hard-cover and paperback, to the general reader.  There are recent fiction and non-fiction best-sellers as well as a variety of classic works.  Collectors will find 50-year old books in good condition.  There are especially good selections of history, biography,  political affairs, psychology and education.  If you're looking for art and travel books with dazzling color prints, they too are for sale at reasonable prices. 

In the market for good children's books?  The Friends' sale has a wide selection, particularly for children under the age of 10.  Like to cook new and unusual dishes?  Then the Friends of the Library sale is the place to find ideas.  Want a good price on videos of good movies? Come look for them at the sale.    For those who like to do their Christmas shopping early,  a variety of books will interest both family and friends. 

The sale offers books in good condition.  Whether you're looking for yourself or for your favorite people, the university library's book sale is the place to visit.  All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Brooks Library Endowment Fund that helps to purchase books and databases for the library.
