Becky Frehse will be giving an artist talk titled "Themes and Variations: An Artist's Creative Process" next Thursday, October 11, at 6:00 p.m. in Randall Hall, room 117. Frehse is a painter and mixed media artist whose eclectic approach to the use of materials is inspired by her many travels and studies in foreign lands. She holds a B.F.A. in painting from Arizona State University and an M.F.A. from Central Washington University (class of 1984) where she studied with William Dunning and Cindy Krieble. She exhibits her work nationally and teaches extensively.
The lecture is presented in conjunction with exhibition "Becky Frehse: Making Music," on view in the Sarah Spurgeon Gallery through October 26.
