2015-2016 Fulbright U.S. Student Program competition - Now Open!

Start now to work on your experience of a lifetime! If you are a new graduate or will be a senior in 2014-2015, this summer is the perfect time to apply for a 2015-2016 Fulbright grant! The Institute of International Education (IIE), in cooperation with the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, is pleased to announce the launch of the 2015-2016 Fulbright U.S. Student Program competition. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects, practical training in the creative and performing arts, or for English Teaching Assistant Programs in more than 140 countries worldwide. The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home, and in routine tasks, allowing the grantee to gain an appreciation of others’ viewpoints and beliefs, the way they do things, and the way they think. For more information, interested individuals should visit the Fulbright U.S. Student Program website at or CWU’s campus Fulbright Program Adviser Lisa Euster at, or ext. 1642.
