Yakima Cinco de Mayo Festival!

Yakima had their annual Cinco De Mayo Festival from Saturday May 6th through Sunday May 7th. This event was located in Downtown Yakima, it is the largest culture festival in the Yakima valley celebrating Latin heritage and culture. The festival brings the authenticity of the culture by the homemade food, with all different types of street vendors such as making homemade tamales, tortillas, etoles (corn on the cob with mayo, cheese, tajin), one of the vendors was making fresh churros.
Not only did the festival have food, but they had live music, a car show, sports game, and the Miss Cinco De Mayo pageant. The College of Business had the opportunity to team up with CWU admission and talk with students about the many programs we offer here at central. The ambassadors for the College of Business shared with them about how diverse our college is, and the many activities we hold as a community.
