Only two degree programs in the College of Business will allow non-matriculated students into their courses: Accounting and Economics.
The Department of Accounting will only allow those post-baccalaureate students who have already graduated with an Accounting degree from an AACSB-accredited program to access their Accounting courses, and then only on a space-available basis during the 3rd day of add-drop. If you already possess an Accounting degree from an AACSB-accredited program, then please email the Accounting classes you desire (including the location of Ellensburg, Lynnwood, or Des Moines) and an unofficial transcript to Dr. Marv Bouillion, Accounting Department Chair, at email@example.com. He will then prepare the necessary paperwork for admission to the course.
The Department of Economics requires that students only have completed specific course prerequisites. The contact for that department is Shirley Hood. Please email Ms. Hood at firstname.lastname@example.org with the course(s) desired and an unofficial copy of your transcript. She will then prepare the necessary paperwork for admission to the course.
Please understand that those courses offered by the Departments of Management and Finance and Supply Chain Management are not accessible by non-matriculated students. Should you wish access to these courses offered by these department which include course prefixes of BUS, MGT, MKT, FIN, SCM, and HRM, then you would need to apply to Central Washington University, and then for courses requiring “admission to the major,” you would need to apply to the major.
