Dr. James Nimnicht has invested decades of energy transforming Human Resource Management students at Central Washington University into thought and practice leaders in today's workplace. On April 27, 2013 we gathered at Suncadia Resort in Roslyn, Washington, for a dinner and evening of honoring Jim's work, building a scholarship for HRM students and catching up with old friends. It was a great event with over 100 friends, family, and alumni in attendance. Photos of the event can be found on the CWU College of Business Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/cwucb/
We are continuing to raise funds for the Dr. James Nimnicht Endowed Scholarship. Once endowed, the scholarship will be a lasting legacy to Jim’s contributions to so many of our lives. It will also provide support for future generations of Human Resource Management professionals. Any amount you can give will support our efforts. Our short term goal is to award a $1000 scholarship next spring. Endowed scholarships typically award only interest earned, protecting the principal for future awards. Based on current investment returns, we have raised enough to support a $750 scholarship. With your help, we can quickly close the gap to our goal. Long term, our goal is to raise enough money to endow a full tuition scholarship.
Please consider giving a one-time or recurring gift to the Nimnicht Scholarship Endowment.
