Nathan grew up in East Wenatchee, Washington, graduating from Eastmont High School in 2013. In his years at Eastmont, Nathan pursued Baseball and was elected Secretary of Skills USA as a Sophomore and carried that position through graduation. Through Skills USA, he competed at the Regional and State level, in welding, placing 5th in State his Senior year. Baseball being Nathan’s focus in high school, he planned to play baseball and receive his education at a community college.

Following High School, Nathan would go on to play one year of Baseball with the Wenatchee Valley College, Knights. While taking classes at WVC, Nathan became interested in the fields of Economics and finance. After two years, Nathan would graduate from Wenatchee Valley College with an AA degree and transfer to Central in hopes of double majoring in Economic Forecasting and Business Administration: Finance.

Today, Nathan is a Senior expecting to graduate in December of 2017 with his B.S. Economic Forecasting & Business Administration: Finance degrees. He is a participating member of the Investments club and active Secretary of the CWU Economics Association. The summer before his senior year, Nathan worked as an intern at Pacific Aerospace & Electronics conducting labor variance analysis and cost estimations for a multimillion dollar manufacturing company. While volunteering for the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement, Nathan worked up a liking for helping others reach their goals while having fun. Now working as a College of Business Student Ambassador, he is able to assist current and prospective students in reaching their academic and professional goals.

After graduation from Central Washington University, he would like to attend Portland State University to obtain his Masters in Finance and earn the CFA designation. With this degree, he would like to work as a financial analyst for an investment bank in hopes of acquiring enough knowledge of financial markets to become a portfolio/hedge fund manager in the future.
