As Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, Ryan’s responsibilities include global leadership of Physio-Control’s strategic planning and corporate development activities. Physio-Control's product portfolio includes advanced mobile medical technologies including vital sign monitor/defibrillators, circulatory enhancement devices, AEDs, and electronic patient record management systems. Within the AED segment, Ryan also holds the position of General Manager, with global responsibility for AED product strategy and marketing.
Prior to his current roles, Ryan held positions of increasing responsibility within business development and sales management, including leadership of Physio-Control's direct and indirect sales to the U.S. AED market, to the U.S. government, and to U.S. pre-hospital and hospital strategic and national accounts.
Before joining Physio-Control in 2004, Ryan was a management consultant with Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice, where he served Fortune 500 healthcare, manufacturing, chemicals and energy clients in the areas of competitive strategy and analysis, marketing, business process improvement, and mergers and acquisition integration.
Ryan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Washington University and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
