Mike is a Senior Client Lead for Amazon Web Services. In this role, he works with a team of recruiters, sourcers and recruiting coordinators focusing in the areas of candidate talent search and placement, process improvement, strategy development and will act as client lead for supported groups. Mike fosters a collaborative team environment and a strong service oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality driven service to internal customers and meets customer service level agreements.
Mike successfully manages, prioritizes and closes searches against a timeline and sets benchmarks, metrics, and prioritizes to ensure customer SLAs are met. He has extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. He has a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, and organization.
Prior to joining Amazon, Mike was the President of XternalSource, a leading Northwest technical consulting, staffing and professional services firm. As a seasoned professional, Mike boasts nearly 20 years of industry experience, specifically in the executive management, sales, and recruiting sectors. He has worked with organizations that have operations throughout the United States as well as worldwide, in various roles including General Manager, Recruiting Manager, Senior Staffing Specialist, and Technical Recruiter. Prior to founding Chameleon, Mike worked at Consultis Information Technology, managing sales, recruiting, and administration teams that delivered quality focused business processes, while increasing revenue and maintaining profitability. Before that, he served as a Senior Staffing Specialist at Spherion Technology Group.
Mike graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and International Business. He is actively involved in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, fundraising for events throughout the year. Mike also enjoys playing baseball, tennis, traveling, boating, collecting autographed sports memorabilia, and spending time with his family and Yellow Lab, Cowboy.
