Jack Byeman is a retired Chief Financial Officer for Boeing Commercial Airplanes Group Single-Aisle Airplane Programs. In that position, he oversaw contracts, accounting, and finance functions.
Previously, he was director of Business Resources for the Douglas Products Division of The Boeing Company, based in Long Beach, Calif. Before being assigned to Long Beach in 1997, he served as director of Business Resources Airplane Production for Boeing Commercial Airplanes and was responsible for Boeing Commercial Airplanes Make/Buy and cost management.
He has also been director of Business Resources for Define and Control Aircraft Configuration/Manufacturing Resource Management (DCAC/M RM), director of Finance and Business Resources for the Everett Division, director of Finance for the Customer Services Division and director of Business Management for Boeing of Canada.
Jack has had a variety of other financial planning, cost management, and procurement cost support assignments both in Boeing Commercial Airplanes headquarters and in various divisions. His positions prior to Boeing include business lecturer at Central Washington University and financial planner with FMC Corporation.
Byeman has a bachelor's degree in economics and business from Calvin College and a master of business administration degree from Washington State University. He completed Northwestern University's executive program in 1980 and the AIMS program at the University of Washington in 1977.
He is a member of the Boeing Employees Credit Union board of directors.
