Accounting Minor Online Application

The accounting minor provides students with an introduction to several key areas of accounting.The Accounting minor provides students with a basic understanding of intermediate accounting concepts, such as financial and cost accounting, income tax, and accounting information systems. Accounting minors are only available to students with declared majors.

Required Courses (15 credits)

ACCT 251 - Financial Accounting
ACCT 252 - Managerial Accounting
ACCT 350 - Intermediate Accounting I

Elective Courses (choose any 2 below) (10 credits):

ACCT 305 - Cost Accounting
ACCT 346 - Income Tax Accounting I
ACCT 351 - Intermediate Accounting II
ACCT 352 - Intermediate Accounting III

Transfer students must earn a minimum of 10 credits in the minor from CWU  

Students must be a declared major before they can declare this minor.
By providing my initials and submitting this form, I understand and agree that the above courses are now, upon acceptance, part of the graduation requirements for my minor (assuming I will be graduating AFTER summer 2014). In addition, I understand I must earn a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 in the above courses to receive the Minor in Accounting.
