Mid-Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group invites you to attend its first annual intern symposium. The symposium will be held Friday, Sept. 27th, 9:00-9:50 in Dean Hall, Room 104 (Ellensburg campus).
Throughout the summer of 2013, Mid-Columbia Fisheries supervised 15 Central Washington University interns as they monitored restoration project success, mapped beaver habitat, relocated nuisance beavers, maintained restoration sites, explored cultural and historic uses of local watersheds, and assisted other partners with various projects. These interns have worked more than 4,500 hours gaining valuable job training, local agency connections, and memorable experiences. Please come learn about the accomplishments, the partnership with CWU, and the next round of interns!
