There is a massive shortage in qualified pilots and aviation management professionals across the nation. CWU’s Department of Aviation—one of the only four-year degree programs in the country—can help guide you through the process of becoming a pilot or aviation management professional.
If your ultimate aspiration is to become an airline pilot, it's important to plan ahead and understand which opportunities will help you attain that goal. If you're serious about the airlines, consider participating in an airline pathway program to guide your professional development and create valuable industry connections.
CWU has a stellar reputation for preparing students to obtain a career in aviation related fields by building essential skills, knowledge, and experience. We offer two pathways with B.S. degrees in Aviation Management or Professional Pilot. The aviation major attracts individuals with a passion for the combined art and science of aviation.
For additional information, be sure to visit the 2022-2023 CWU course catalog.
Course fees listed include both required and optional courses, not all fees may apply to an individual student. Please refer to the course catalog to determine which course fees will apply to you.
