CWU’s attendance is annually among the best in the GNAC for all sports, particularly for football and men’s basketball.
The Wildcat Club is the booster organization for CWU athletics and is comprised of a group of dedicated people who value of a successful intercollegiate athletic program. They are committed to support CWU athletics, including through an annual fund drive, to promote and foster the growth and development of the university’s student-athletes.
CWU is the only GNAC school that offers live, local radio play-by-play of all football and men’s basketball games, and select women’s basketball games, which are also streamed on the Internet to fans worldwide. Home games are also videostreamed. In addition, CWU has selected games telecast regionally on Root Sports, for which the university’s Office of Development organizes watch parties for alumni statewide. Two area newspapers, three television stations, and several radio stations also routinely provide coverage of the Wildcats.
