(Ellensburg, Wash. – Oct. 4, 2013) One of the ASCWU-BOD’s goals for this year is to seek and receive more student input than ever before. Central is considering converting from quarters to semesters and the BOD is providing students with a forum to give feedback on the matter. The BOD will send out a survey via email to all CWU students Oct. 9, which will stay open until midnight on Oct. 27.
“I think the survey is important to each student because it directly affects their academics and can have a direct impact on their lives. Many times I’ve heard students wonder why they don’t have a voice in major decisions around campus and this survey gives everyone that chance so I urge all students to participate,” commented Jacob Wittman, ASCWU-BOD Vice President.
Students should be sure to check their email for the survey and respond as thoughtfully and honestly as possible. The BOD always values students’ opinions, particularly in cases such as this where all students would be affected. Don’t miss the opportunity to make a case, whether for or against the conversion.
