CWU Wants You to Run for Student Government: 2014-2015 ASCWU-BOD Elections

(Ellensburg, Wash. – Feb. 14, 2014) Are you a great leader, public speaker and representative of your fellow Central students? Do you have what it takes to make a positive difference on campus and in the community? Then CWU wants you to run for student government and join the Associated Students of CWU Board of Directors (ASCWU-BOD).

Campaign registration is open now and must be completed by April 11 at 4 p.m. Potential candidates can register in Campus Life Room 263 or by visiting www.cwu.edu/ascwu/election-candidate-registration. Potential candidates can also take advantage of information sessions hosted by the Election Commission to meet with current BOD members and receive signatures needed to file on February 24 at 6:00 p.m. in SURC 236, March 10 at 6:00 p.m. in SURC 236, or the week of April 7-11 at a location and time TBD.

Students are encouraged to run for the following positions: President, Executive Vice President, Vice President for Clubs and Organizations, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Vice President for Equity and Community Affairs, Vice President for Student Life and Facilities or Vice President for Legislative Affairs.
