Be sure to vote in the Associated Students of Central Washington University Board of Directors (ASCWU-BOD) Primary Election Wednesday, April 10 in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with preliminary results being posted by 11:59 p.m. Online voting begins Monday, April 8 at midnight and ends Wednesday at 7 p.m. Registration instructions for online voting will be sent to CWU student email accounts.
The Primary Election will set the General Election ballot for two ASCWU-BOD positions, President and Vice President of Academic Affairs. Bryan Elliott, Travis Beck and Philip Rush are the candidates for President and Kelsie Miller, Jessica Tamara and Christopher Blesie are running for Vice President of Academic Affairs. Only two candidates for each position will move on to the General Election May 2.
Students are also encouraged to attend the Candidate Forum Monday, April 8 at 6 p.m. in the SURC Pit. Students can learn more about the candidates running for each position, while also having the opportunity to ask candidates the questions that matter most to them.
