Stacey Robertson, PhD ~ Professor of History
Welcome to the College of Arts and Humanities at Central Washington University! I am thrilled and honored to be the new Dean, representing more than 1,400 undergraduate and 80 graduate students, 150 faculty, and 20 staff members. During my first weeks and months at CWU I have learned to appreciate our superb faculty, devoted staff, and talented students.
The College of Arts and Humanities offers students a stimulating classroom experience combined with an award-winning cultural and intellectual environment. From jewelry making to jazz performances, from philosophy to French, our College enriches the university experience of every student who attends one of our events, enrolls in one of our courses, or interacts with one of our staff members.
We provide students with the tools to succeed in a rapidly changing job market, and the ethical foundation to become responsible citizens in a complex world. Our students apply classroom learning to the real world through internships, study abroad opportunities, and engaged, meaningful research. We cultivate the imagination, the mind, and the heart.
Please explore our website. It offers information about our eight departments, four interdisciplinary programs, co-curricular activities, speakers and events, performances and workshops, and much more. I invite you to visit our friendly, exciting campus and discover for yourself what it means to be a Central Washington University Wildcat.
