Speaker: Prof. Steve Jackson
Digital humanities is the using of digital tools to conduct inquiry into human society, allowing students and faculty to find new ways to conduct research, and reach wider audiences with their findings than ever before. Come listen and discuss this subject with Steve Jackson, a digital humanities practitioner who has worked in this field for more than a decade. He will offer some definitions of what digital humanities is, then share how his own students use this field to create new and innovative research.
