Gerri Sayler is a sculptor and mixed-media artist living in Moscow, Idaho. Numinous is a site-responsive exhibit referencing her emotional response to the episodic freeze-thaw cycles embedded in the Northwest’s cataclysmic geologic history. More atmosphere than sculpture, the soft-sculpted installation will comprise nearly 2,000 lengths of monofilament, hand drizzled by the artist with hot glue and suspended to create a cascading featherweight structure.
