Public opening reception for a solo exhibition by Margery Amdur that will take place in the CWU Sarah Spurgeon Gallery (Randall Hall, Rm. 141). Amdur is a contemporary mixed-media artist who uses a variety of unusual materials, such as cosmetic sponges, corsage pins, and pompoms, to create large-scale wall pieces and installations. Amdur is an Associate Professor of Art at Rutgers-Camden University in New Jersey.
