Portfolio Application for BFA in Graphic Design

Procedure: Due Tuesday, November 1, 2016

Graphic Design Facility

All Graphic Design students wishing to apply for the BFA must submit the following:
1) An application form
2) Academic Requirements Report
3) Completed Advising Report Checklist indicating the quarters in which prerequisites were completed
4) Portfolio with 10 to 12 pieces of design and artwork

Students may submit work from any previous or current art or design class, but an emphasis on design is highly encouraged. Transfer students may include work from other schools. Freelance work may also be included if applicable. All work must be viewable on-screen and saved to a USB Flash Drive. PDF files preferred. USB Flash drives must be placed in a sealed envelope, along with the required documents listed above, with the student's name written on the outside of the envelope. Students must also include their email address in order to be contacted. Envelopes must be turned in to the art office by no later than 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2016.

Portfolio submissions must be done during the Fall quarter of a student's junior year.  The procedure above occurs in the middle of the Fall quarter.
