BFA in Graphic Design

The graphic design program in the Department of Art + Design emphasizes critical thinking through the exploration of digital and print media. As part of the BFA Graphic Design sequence, students also complete a 10–12 credit Cooperative Education summer internship.

Application to the BFA program occurs at the beginning of your Junior year, and is contingent upon grade-point average, and the completion of prerequisite graphic design courses. Prerequisite courses can be taken before entrance into the program, and Freshman and Sophomores are recommended to enroll in the BA Graphic Design Track program so they can be assigned an advisor and discuss program options.
