Enlisted into the Washington Army National Guard’s 286th Engineer Company on 22 Dec 1976, then hired as the Unit’s Supply Tech in Sep 1977. Switched from Civil Service to AGR in the same unit in Sep 1985. He transferred to the WAARNG’s 1-303rd Armor Battalion as the Battalion Supply Sergeant, Jan 1994. After the 303rdArmor Battalion was transferred to Kent, WA, in 1997, he stayed in Yakima and assumed the same role in HHD, 420th Chemical Battalion, later taking over as HHD, 420th Chemical Battalion’s Detachment Sergeant. He retired from the National Guard after being selected for the Supply Tech position at CWU’s Army ROTC. Finished with 28 years as Supply Clerk/Sergeant, attaining the rank of SFC
