The Provost Search Committee is pleased to announce the four qualified finalists for the Provost/ Vice President for Academic and Student Life position. Each candidate will present in an open forum during their visit to Ellensburg. The Provost/Vice President for Academic and Student Life is a university leadership position that supports the success of faculty, staff, and students. The provost serves as a member of the President’s Cabinet and works in collaboration with other executive leaders, faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders to provide visionary leadership, strategic planning, policy direction, and management for student and academic endeavors.

 

As the Vice President for the Division of Academic and Student Life, the provost manages a total budget of nearly $125 million, which includes a direct operating budget of approximate $2.5 million. Funds dedicated to core instructional activities are managed within the context of Responsibility-center Management (RCM) and Activity-based Budgeting (ABB).
