Join CWU, alumni, and friends throughout the year for a series of discussions that fuses a collection of prominent social and artistic voices.

 

 

 

Our first presentation showcases a panel of legal professionals to discuss Washington I-502, its development, challenges, and impact at the state and national level.

     Peter Holmes, Seattle City Attorney
     Mark Cooke, Policy Advocate for the ACLU
     Peter Talevich, Associate Attorney K&L Gates
     Nicole Gaines, Administrative Law Judge of Seattle OAH Office

Discussion will include the development and historic precedent surrounding the passing of I-502, and examining the challenging legal, regulatory, and business issues arising from the creation of Washington’s new commercial cannabis industry.
